Cosmonaut golfs his way across outer space...not Borat, not yet.

The most wary of words…If All Goes As Planned…have been applied to the latest golfing stunt, courtesy of Element 21.
Element 21 is a rising spec in the golf industry. With offices in Toronto, Jersey City, and a sales distributor in Germany, Element 21 is basing its hopes on two elements: scandium and a shot seen across the sky. Scandium is, briefly, a Russian-designed element, while the shot seen across the skies is a blast from a Russian cosmonaut this evening. Anchored to a special tether, with the ball encased in a unique sleeve, Mikhail Tyurin will take a swing not seen in those environs since Alan Shepard a quarter-century ago.
Now, I’m thinking, how can we spin this to connect with the Borat phenomenon? Well, to be blunt, it’s one of the few stunts Borat hasn’t tried. Perhaps he could interview Tyurin live, mid-swing, in either one’s native tongue…hmmm. Another thought might be to have the Kazakhstan-born Borat ride another rocket into the region beyond, accompanied by his brother Bilo, he of the strong arms and 204 teeth, and attempt to outdue Tyurin’s anticipated two or three orbits of the planet.

We’ll just have to stay tuned, I guess. Watch it live or on video on the E21 site.

Booger..succinct, yet somehow lacking.
Mike...Thank you. I found it to be remarkably creative. Most people don't get it, but you did. You are really perceptive, and should receive more credit for your gifts. Can we send you something as a token of our esteem?
