We've not seen nothing like the mighty Phil (Mickleson, that is.)

Win a free golf book!

I’ve been mortifying to write this blog entry, since I take a different cue from what happened to Phlabby Phil on Sunday. The way I see it, the playoff win was much more important for C3PO than was the playoff loss for PM. Here’s my reasoning: CH3 has been on a crapper streak, beginning just after he was annointed to be a future partner for El Tigre in world team match competition (remember their pairing in the Copa El Presidente a few years back?) With this victory, Chuck Ho’s place on the 2007 PCup team is guaranteed.

Now, back to Amy’s husband. With all the press on how he has made swing changes, Sophia’s dad found out that the same issue that haunted him in June last year, remains to this day. Evan’s pop flagged one wide left on 18 during his 72nd hole, leading to the playoff-rousing bogey. Amanda’s pappy will now go back to work on this breakdown with his professional staff of caretakers, and be ready to avoid it in April (or is it March?) when Da’ Mahsters rolls around. Imagine flagging one wide left on 18 at Augusta…not exactly the middle of the fairway, although not so dangerous. In any case, Phil learned that his final-hole driver swing is not dependable at all, so look for a punched driver to be the shot du jour for the Arizona Gunslinger.

I would like to agree with the RMan, but Phil just has this propensity to pull out his own rug from under him, and this is true WITHOUT the Tiger on his ass. CHIII isn't Tiger...and he took him to the tool shed. This only confounds Phil's mentality as he moves forward to Augusta. He now has a two tournament blowup in the same manner...one at a US OPEN, and this at Hogan's Alley. Ouch. He hasn't got the balls to hang with Tiger, let alone the young'n Charles Howell III.

Not to be a downer, but where were Amy, Amanda, Sophia and Evan on Mother's Day? Also, where is Phil's wedding ring? UMMMMMM, just wondering.
