The University of Southern California is pleased to announce the potential arrival of the next Tiger Woods. His resume has been building quietly over the past few years of his education and edification, but his excellence can be kept unmentioned no longer. Presenting: Jamie Lovemark.

Proof? Here are links to recent finishes.

2007 NCAA Division One Championship: First place individual competition

2007 Rochester Area Charities Showdown at Somerby (Nationwide Tour Tournament) Playoff-Non-Winner and tournament runner up as an amateur.

2007 AT&T National (PGA Tour Tournament) Second-low score on day one…Click Here to follow his progress.

When the dean of college golf, Ron Balicki of Golfweek, deems Lovemark a necessary addition to the Walker Cup team of 2007, the case is closed and the jury is in.

CAUTION: In the summer of 2004, Ryan Moore eclipsed Lovemark’s record by winning the US Amateur, US Public Links, and NCAA Individual. He did not experience similar pro tour success as an amateur, and has yet to truly define himself as a member of Tiger’s court. Therefore, we should be cautious before anointing Lovemark with chrism. However, since he has his own website and blog, perhaps there is more to him than just the cool name.

Lovemark looks good so far but "the next Tiger" is more likely Anthony Kim as if there is going to be a next Tiger.

O.S.,
That would be a nice trio for a Ryder Cup...Kim, Lovemark, Moore. Perhaps there is hope for the US after all.
