“I am excited to participate in this special event for such a worthwhile
cause,” said Zuback. “It is always a treat to play with and compete
against PGA TOUR players, especially Bubba, Jason and Kevin Stadler, guys I hold in high regard. I look forward to hitting it hard and hitting it
long, and giving our team a chance to earn some money for the charitable
organizations we represent.”

So spaketh Jason Zuback, Pharmacist and hitter of prodigious distances, in an Acushnet press release. We’ve been waiting for this type of match-up for years. I watched John Daly weakly fail to clear Niagara’s Horseshoe Falls on 20 attempts, thinking that Zuback and at least 10 other guys could do it with ease. Now I want to see the bomber (who I know has a solid short game) go against the Tour guys.

Zuback, Bubba Watson, Kevin Stadler and Jason Gore plan to dispute the KRAFT Shoot-Out prior to the Albertsons’ Boise Open on the Nationwide Tour, on Monday, September 17th (next week!) Details of the competition will be released in the nearing future.
