NCAA Basketball has no 16 seed upsets...but the World Match Play does! Bye-bye Ernie Els

In the least surprising upset of all time, Jonathan Byrd won three holes WITH PAR to defeat Ernie {{The Eagle}} Els, 6 and 5. Although a #16 seed has never defeated a #1 in the men’s NCAA hoops tournament, Byrd had the key against Els. We might have two, if J.B. Holmes holds on against Tiger Woods. That would pave the road for Philly Mick. Stay tuned.

Tiger was 3-down with five to go and is now 2-down with four to go. Mickelson and Stricker hold tentative 1-up leads...could all four top seeds drop on one day? The sponsors are holding their breaths!!

Did I mention that 3 2-seeds have already lost? Furyk, Rory and Rose are at the airport, courtesy of Monty, Dredge and Pampling. Nice job, seeders!
