Hawkman, AKA Tripp Isenhour, AKA JHI III--Why didn't anyone challenge him to stop?

The wolfman, Will Wolfrum, relayed today the news that Tripp Isenhour went hawk hunting last December. My question is, what were the host, television crew and bystanders doing while the imbecile was targeting the bird? Did they think it was funny? Were they frozen in disbelief? Not one of 17 respondents to Wolfrum’s blog asked these questions today, preferring to target only the assassin. Guilt wears many robes, not just the one of the transgressor. I hope that all who witnessed the hawk target practice are held as accountable as Tripp Isenhour, should the event be proven and Isenhour found guilty.

Yes, RonMom lets throw anyone in jail who was there too. Maybe within five city blocks for good measure. Perhaps a version of the Good Samaritan law that finally got the Seinfeld gang is on the books for hawks.

Because we don't put enough people in jail in America. Let's invent reasons.

Instead of focusing on the jerk who killed the bird. Of course, no one's simply a jerk who deserves public ridicule anymore. Not when tax dollars can be used to investigate and prosecute a one-time bird killer.

"Guilt wears many robes" OMG, I'll bet you do to in the many bath house's you frequent.

Not only are you a total tool you look exactly like that chump that gave the fake confession about offing JonBenét Ramsey, John Mark Karr .

Chris, right as always. Who needs the Bible and the Constitution when we have you? I sure don't.

James, took you long enough to out me. Good job, mate. You win the prize: an e-harmony exchange with Chris Baldwin (see above comment and his blog.)

Actually, I think that we need to rename the Tin Cup shot the Hawk...take as many swings as you need until you reach your goal...the ultimate mulligan.

Aren't you are criminally liable to some extent if you are discovered to have witnessed a crime and not taken action (whether it's just a report or an overt act)?

I'm pretty confident that myself or one of my crew would habve intervened in some fashion. Isenhour's a jerk. No wonder he's never been a force on Tour.

James - don't fret about 'ronmon'. He's just 'stretching the envelope' of language. That's his only agenda/goal in blogging.

mon - WoW...pretty colorful and pretty ridiculous...but a tiny bit better than your more recent book report posts. Anyway, most of the respondents to Wolfies blog were tree-hugging whack-jobs more concerned with inflicting personal injury on Isenhour's family - exzctly what I'd expect from his "left of the Left" readership.

Shanks - doesn't apply to misdemeanors, only felony crimes.

This is the Bill O'Reilly method of attacking people by the way - take one statement in a group of 30+ comments on a blog, and then call everyone Nazis.

One anonymous commenter said send hate mail to the family. At least three people, including Baldwin called the poster out on that remark. The vast majority of commenters expressed outrage and a wish that karma would bit Isenhour on the ass.

So please, folks, stop using Bill O'reilly and Rush Limbuagh as examples of how to conduct debate.

ROTFLMFAO Bill. I just get so tired of the liberal bias in what passes for 'media' these days. ooooooo - "play fair" when you talk about US...but if you're a Republican, just go ahead and bend over! *sigh* No longer.

FACT: fully two-thirds of the 35 comments so far on your post reflect an aggressive environmentalist viewpoint. 4 of them advocated bulldozing or otherwise destroying golf courses.

FACT: there are 4 comments that make mention of not only harming Isenhour's family in some way but also advocate hitting golf balls at the man "until he is bleeding from his nose".

IMPRESSION: I can hardly wait till the election is over and you up-East liberal sad-sacks take your Communist candidates (um, that would be Billary and Hussein) and slink off into the night with them.

I find it appropriate that the commenter who writes in anonymous acronyms--ROTFLMFAO is himself an anonymous acronym--BV.

By the way, Limbaugh is spelled Limbaugh. BV, do you have to be so overly melodramatic? This isn't a B-Movie, with slinking off into the night, sad-sacks, and communist.

You seem to hide your fears and uncertainties behind a wall of bitter diatribe. What childhood experiences drove you to this state?

Ron, you have the worst word sense of anyone I know. You always use slang that sounds cool to you, but sounds forced and contrived to your readers. Nevertheless, you don't care. Despite the feedback and interface the Internet offers to you, you choose to ignore what readers want and instead become a joke. You "push the envelope" all right...you push it into the middle of a freeway and get it crushed by a semi. You are not clever, you're just weird.

Hey James, no, RonMon wears his robes to his weekly Dungeons and Dragons game. Can you see a wild-eyed Ron acting like that kid in the Verizon commercial yelling WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!?

Well, Tom, we cannot all be lords of the lingo like you. It must be unbearable for a person of your stature to have to suffer our inequities. How you muddle through the unworthy masses on your way toward immortality is beyond me. Thank you for putting up with us. We are not worthy.

Only Ron Mon could write a rip of the hawk killing and get back some 95 percent of the comments ripping him rather than the guy who struck the hawk. Classic.

Proves TravelGolf.com readers are smarter than most Internet users are given credit for being.

*smiles* Um, Ron...it was Wolfie that mis-spelled Rush's last name, not me. All *I* did was point out some 'facts' for him regarding the comments on his blog...since he requested them.

"Rolling on the floor laughing my F*ing A*s off" is awfully long to type, and it's not really anonymous OR obscure in 'Net-Speak. It's actually more "accessible" than most of the posts we get from you. ;)

Darn - I didn't mean to be melodramatic...that's best handled by the liberal leftist media folks like you, Kiel and Wolfie.

And gosh, I can't see how you'd characterize my comments as 'bitter' - satiric, ironic, world-weary perhaps - structure you aren't familiar with I know, but hardly bitter.

Ron, it's "iniquities" not "inequities." Iniquities are "sins or mistakes" - inequities are "biases or acts of unfairness," so once again, your word sense (or spell checking) misses the mark by a mile again. Lemme guess, you'll say "I was just pushing the envelope." Man, your students must be illiterate having you for a teacher...

Chris, it's only 66% dissing him...his own replies are the other 33%. Hownfunny is it when he replies to his own posts more than anyone else does.
