Azinger, Feeling Sorry For Nick, Snubs Austin

Austin for Clarke is the way I see it. I understand the other picks, I think…Actually, I do not, save Stricker. Stricker has earned his way onto the team, case closed. J.B. Holmes is there to rally the troops. We will not revisit the War By The Shore of 1991, but this is Azinger’s way of mandating fan participation. Does Holmes deserve to be there for his golf? No. His personality? Yes. He represents the righting of a wrong, of the USA always overlooking John Daly, back when other long john was deserving of a wild card pick. Hunter Mahan puts to rest the notion that you can’t speak out against an event and later receive an invitation to play. He is suspect and would have been a second-best to Brandt Snedeker in my opinion. Same goes for Chad Campbell…he would have been second-best to Woody in my assessment. I’ll say this for Azinger, he is a confident one. Comments:
Then why not just pick Daly now? Holmes
is absolutely horrible. He's a lock to lose his singles match and a lock to drag down his partner in the other formats.

laughing - gosh MoRon....you really get some insighful comments on the "stuff" (decided against using an expletive there) you "write"! ;)
