I bet a bunch of golfers will have a reaction. As I logged on to an unnamed sporting site to get my daily scores update, a pop-up for the Nike Dymo adjustable driver appeared, with brilliantly-colored jet streams painting the sky in blues, yellows and reds. “One club. One swing. Eight shots.” reads the tag line.
I imagined hundreds of golfers chuckling to themselves…"Hey, I already do that. Why do I need a new club to be inconsistent?”
The Nike Dymo is predicated on giving you, the golfer, the chance to regulate your shot pattern with your driver. Under the rules of golf (if you play by them) you can set it at the beginning of the round and that’s it. The morphing is limited to one setting per round. If you’re playing for fun, it’s nice to tool around in your own shop and change your flight pattern. Keeps things interesting.
So, too, does the random pattern of most golfers’ shots. Fore right!!
