This takes me back! When our local course was relatively new and a bit waterlogged, we used to carry slim "winter" bags with a half-set. Now I'm ancient enough (and the drainage has improved dramatically) it's the electric cart. There was also a venerable gentleman who carried a very slim bag and a half set, both of which looked as though they belonged to old Tom Morris. His house backed onto the course and he used to walk it with a tiny equally venerable dog. Eventually the dog got so old that he used to pull it around the course on a little cart. A familiar and much-loved sight for many years. Thanks for reminding me.
