Golf Marathon to raise funds to fight cancer
They tell me that 100 holes of golf is a marathon, but I’m not so sure. I’m thinking that I might go more than 100 holes if the body holds up.
Whoops, I’m getting ahead of me self (that’s pirate speak…aaaarrrrgh.)
I’ve signed up to support Carly’s Club, a branch of the fundraising tree at Roswell Park Cancer Institute of Buffalo (New York), by playing 100 holes in one day at Brookfield Country Club, just east of the Queen City. This is my second tour of duty, having successfully negotiated the 100 at Westwood Country Club three years ago. New venue, new challenge!
I’m going to post a link here in its entirety, so that you might grab it and forward it on if you know someone who might be interested in pledging support. The link will take you to my personal page, so that you or your friend might learn a little about me and the cause.

I’m amazed that, even as we as a world struggle to escape the economic hole we’ve dug, folks still demonstrate the generosity that defines charitable giving.
So I thank you, whether you pledge support to me or someone else, whether you forward this on or simply wish me a silent meditation of support. Thanks…RonMon
