So Camilo Villegas got a new friend...

Part One:  I’m putting on my Shade to cover up my eyes

Not really, but he finds himself in the midst of a break-up, one that will take five long months of heartache to come to a conclusion. Villegas and his muscles, you see, have been under contract to this one company, we’ll call her Tanya, for a number of years. Turns out this other company (call her Allie) wanted Villegas all to herself and gave him a ton of … something to switch teams.

Part Two:  I’m Top UP/ON in my ride, I’m heading out tonight

So over the course of the past week, Allie has been talking all about Camilo to anyone who will listen. In a press release, over the internet, you know, everyone that matters.  Problem is, Tanya knows this lawyer dude (or dudess, not sure) who say “Oh no, you di’nt. You can’t talk about my man while he’s still with me.” And legally, Camilo is still with Tammy, err, Tanya for the next five months, in a legal sort of way. Here’s how Tanya presents it:

“Villegas, ranked No. 25 in the Official World Golf Ranking, is exclusively under contract with Tanya to play the company’s Tanya golf ball, and wear Tanya’s golf shoes and gloves, and is prominently featured in the advertising and promotion of those products.  The suit claims Allie intentionally interfered with Villegas’ current contract nearly five months before the end of its term. Tanya will seek damages in addition to injunctive relief.”

As you can see, Tanya doesn’t want any part of Camilo going around, talking about what Allie’s got. In my opinion, both of these suitors are quite attractive and incredibly well-rounded, when it comes to equipping their guy.

Part Three: I’m feeling like a star, you can’t stop my shine

So what does Camilo do during this period of time?  SHUT HIS MOUTH. Smile a lot and SHUT HIS MOUTH. Now would be a good time to revert to a Spanish-only plan and SHUT HIS MOUTH if anyone asks him a question about the lawsuit, the injunction, Tanya or Allie.
