Team USA Rain Suits: Potential Explanations
Now that the USA has a break during the rain, it’s time to examine the rain suit debacle. Any logical person will conclude the following:
–Sun Mountain knew what kind of rain suits it was shipping to Team USA and knew that they were rain resistant, not rain proof;
–Since Captain Corey alone, according to Julius Mason of the PGA, was responsible for the rain suits (Sun Mountain is not an official licensing partner of the PGA,) it’s safe to say that someone goofed up and didn’t know the difference between resistant and proof.
Ultimately, who cares? It will be a footnote in history and the competition will be resolved properly. Team USA and Team Europe will play out as they were meant to do. Sun Mountains makes amazing bags and rain gear and will continue to sell well throughout the world.

While I support every one's right to present an opinion (hence, this blog!) it might be a bit too early to pass judgment on Pavin's success or failure. Out of curiosity, whom might you have nominated in his place? Give me 2 or 3 choices, so we can have a nice debate!!
