Just the tiniest of corrections Ron, I was not comparing Michelle and Tiger at the same age. I was comparing Michelle at 13 to Tiger at 16, Michelle at 14 to Tiger at 17 and Michelle at 15 to Tiger at 18. Which I thought should more or less have eliminated the "girls mature faster than boys" argument (it didn't). The only conclusion I drew was that there was statistically no reason to say that Michelle should not try competeing with the men for another year since she actually has a pretty good record so far...and of course you have seen the furor that raised. Power to the people! May the debate rage on for years to come.

It is strange how most of the threads, no matter what the start off topic, generate into an argument about whether women can play with men or indeed should be allowed to.

Whatever happens at the Sony, these comments are likely to continue, and peoples opinions are likely to stay just the same.
