The point is ..... IN YOUR BLOG, YOU DIDN'T WRITE THAT HE'S DEAF. Re-read it. Nowhere does it tell readers that he's deaf. I only learned that later, surfing the web.

He's deaf and I'm slow, as I don't GET your response. My understanding of the connection between hearing and the kinesthetic needs of a pro golfer is limited; however, when you combine a physical impediment with a socio-ethnic one, you get a kid who is battling the odds. Will he make it? Well, he already has a Big Ten championship (I don't, do you?) to help him on his way. Notice I didn't make major predictions, just recognized his inspirational qualities. I'm already inspired. Thank you for commenting on the post.
