Shanks, I have no bubbles left to burst. Unless you've spoken with "every big-time player," you really can't back up your claim with facts.

BV, thanks for the props. You can agree with Shanks if you choose. Free country and all that.

Booboola, Don't be sold on Wie so quickly. Neither girl is a Christina Kim in regard to fan-favorite status. When you say "not that attractive," what exactly are you using as a reference point: intellectual development, emotional security, physical beauty, choice of apparel, or some other element? I'd like for you to elaborate, as it might be interesting. Also, I haven't heard of these "unprovoked attacks" that you mention. Are you thinking of Morgan Pressel, perhaps? As queen of the Solheim Cup team, as well as a multiple winner, Creamer is out in front for the moment.
Ron - To Ms. Creamer's chagrin, Michelle Wie will always be more popular than her. Paula is not that attractive and has a bad attitude. Is she a very good golfer - yes - but her unprovoked attacks on Ms. Wie demonstrate a jealousy that she will never overcome. Michelle willmake more money in endorsements in her first year as a pro than Ms. Creamer may earn over her first ten.

Ron Mon, like your blogs so far (the book review was a good one - just enough meat to pique the interest), but I have to agree with poster 'shanks' on this. I feel pretty sure TW, or any Tour Pro, would MUCH rather win at the Buick Open than end up T14 at the US Open.

Sorry to bust your bubble but Tiger DOES care if he wins or loses every time he tees it up. Does he care as much as majors - no. But he also doesn't put much stock in where he finishes in majors if it isn't at the top. Every big-time player would much rather have those 2 wins in Tour events than the slightly higher finishes in majors.
