I’m a glass half full kinda guy so this is not an article about Tiger Woods’ injury. Lord knows enough has already been written about The Knee. I’m thinking about life on the professional circuit without Tiger Woods for a little while. Immediately the thought is that there will be better opportunities for Major Championship victories for everyone else entered in the next two and that the U.S. Ryder Cup team has suffered a serious blow.

Please pardon my French for what follows, but when one of my buddies did the unimaginable a few weeks ago and double hit a shot from the rough, he muttered in a state of total disbelief, “I just TC Chen-ed that mother ******!” As funny as it was to the rest of us, it was just as awful to him. At the LPGA Championship: Some Not-So-Random Thoughts

When I say I spent all day at the LPGA Championship on Friday last week at Bulle Rock, I mean all day long. Walked the course twice around, once each with both halves of the field. In addition, I caught the majority of the weekend telecast on The Golf Channel as well. Having been immersed in it for a weekend leaves me with many strong impressions, which no doubt you’re all dying to read. So here goes:
