Hehehe .... we had Irwin in a golf fantasy league a few years ago and we had a nickname for him that rhymed with bass-pole. But since he was like a human ATM we said he was our favorite bass-pole.

Roberts said he would play about 6 times on the regular Tour at venues that suit his game (read: short & tight) to stay current with the young bucks.

Ryder Cup pairings are made in a blind draw.

Hale Irwin is a pompass ass. Loren Roberts has said that in his role as Captain's assistant for the Ryder Cup he may play in more regular tour events in an effort to keep current with the young guns on the PGA Tour. I think you are right Shanks, this may be the only hope these guys have. Stenson is playing awfully well early on in the year, but if the American's would play with some passion and pride for once I don't see them having too much trouble with him---They could just sick pit bull Dimarco on him. He's really proving to be quite a competitor.
