Players are thinking about the Ryder Cup like a Major Championship. They are using this week as a tune up, but they are focussing on parts of the game they will need next week rather than using a lot of energy they will need next week to study every detail of the course they are playing this week. But I really believe Ryan Moore will be the next big name in golf. For one thing, how many players have got on the PGA tour without Q school. Tiger, Leonard, and ? Plus he's leading this week and is having a good year even though he missed a lot with the wrist injury. And the last time I saw him he was picking the club straight up in front of him because it didn't hurt to swing that way.
