Vijay Singh being named European Tour player of the year is a joke. The guy played four times in Europe and barely broke the top 10 in any of his appearances. Yet Miguel Angel Jimenez won four times. Talk about jumping on the bandwagon. Jimenez is also a loyal supporter of the European Tour, while Singh stays in the U.S. because of the money – not that I have a problem with that, but as far as giving Singh Euro Tour player of the year honors, the numbers just don’t add up.

Your comments of Vijay being the Europian Player of the year deserves merit. People do join the bandwagon, as for example Tiger being the PGA player of the year in 2003. However you do seem to have a problem with Vijay making the money, because you mention it.
