Santee strippers challenge Rebel!

I don’t know what The Rebel blogger has against Santee, but he’s at it again, disparaging the small, South Carolina town – even though he has apparently never been there. How can you ‘diss a place you’ve never been to? Easy, you call on all the old stereotypes.

I’ve been to Santee, and enjoyed it thoroughly: the golf, the fishing and especially Spinners, the Gentlemen’s Club. This isn’t your average strip joint, like they have in Myrtle Beach and other places. It’s more of a friendly-bar type atmosphere, dare I say even a family environment, where the strippers know your name and are genuinely interested in you. There’s no hustle or any of the other quick-money shenanigans other strip clubs use. Spinners is a microcosm of the town, a low-key, unpretentious place where you don’t have to spend a ton of money to have fun.

In any case, Spinners and the girls are calling the Rebel out. I called them and suggested helping us, his fellow bloggers, vote him out, like we did Dennis Silvers, the Las Vegas Golf Guru – but they have way too much Southern charm for that. Instead, they took the high road, inviting the Rebel – at their own expense – to spend a few days in Santee to see what it’s really all about. Look for a full story on this coming out soon.

In the meantime, how about it Rebel? Are you man enough to take them up on their gracious offer? Or will you continue to make potshots from afar?

It is early yet, but saying a strip joint has a 'family atmosphere' is already the front-runner for oxymoron of the year. That makes the Rebel's inane slamming of Santee look positively inspired.

Heading to Santee soon to golf.Would you advise a trip to Spinners and which night? What is the average a person will spend in this establishment?

Yes, I would advise a trip to Spinners. Check if they have any specials.

The amount of money you spend will be in direct proportion with the time you want to spend with the girls.
