What Michelle Wie needs to do to make a comeback

First of all, Michelle Wie needs to rid herself of these Nike clowns. No more corporate hacks traveling in her entourage. They give her bad advice and give the impression, correctly, that she isn’t a golfer so much as a walking product placement.

Her Nike manager is obviously a jackass. He was almost certainly involved in Wie’s dubious decision to quit the Ginn Tribute. The fact that she hit range balls the very next day, after this so-called debilitating injury, is an incredible insult to one of the LPGA’s most likeable players and greatest champions, Annika Sorenstam.

But, mostly, it’s her parents who are failing her. The insult to Sorenstam didn’t have to happen. Look, when I was 17 years old, I did similar stupid goofs, simply because I either didn’t know any better or didn’t have anyone around at the time to tell me I had certain obligations.

That’s what parents are for. At this point, I’m not certain her parents are any better than the Nike sharks.

She needs to find a moral and ethical compass, specifically, someone to teach her manners, the reasons for seeking out her hostess and the people who invite her to tournaments and explain to them her decisions.

She needs to be more candid in her interviews, instead of simply repeating in Valley girl language that she just wants to have fun. Hey, all girls just want to have fun. This girl, like it or not, is different.

The obscene amount of money she is making from product endorsements is a fusion of both her golfing ability and social image. She’s failing at both.

She needs to abandon this idea of playing with the men, until such time she proves she can do it without making a fool of herself. You would think even Nike, solely concerned with return on investment, would understand this.

In short, she needs to grow up and 17-year-olds need help with that.

I have a feeling Wie will become likeable again – when she hits 30.

So I'm watching the news this morning and I I can't help but notice the similarities
Paris Hilton and Michelle Wie.

1) They both have trouble driving.

2) They both have trouble taking respons-
ibility for their actions.

3) When things get tough they both have no
trouble coming up with medical conditions
to try and get them out of it.

One thing that is opposite:

Paris is maximizing her talent, while
with Wie we wonder.

you need to ease up on her--
she is truly a phenom, and even tiger
has been off on his game due to both
injury and swing changes.
remember, and don't forget this fact--she
scored 7 birdies in a round at a pga tournament. no other female golfer on this planet could or can do that, and many pga golfers haven't.
when she comes back, she'll dominate the lpga tour, hopefully, without being an actual
member.
you just wait and see. she is the only
real female phenom in golf.

So I'm reading this blog this afternoon and I can't help but notice the similarities
Wie Haters and Golf Racists with no life

1) They both hate Michele Wie.

2) They both have no trouble berating a 17 yr child prodigy.

3) When things get tough they both go to the I have a asian friend card to try to get them out of it!

One thing that is opposite:

Paris has no talent(maximizing sword swallowing don't count), While Wie can hit a golf ball farther than most grown Racists.

Credit to michelle wie for finishing her
4th round despite her injury. And credit
to Paris for finally taking her medicine
and going back to finish her sentence
without more excuses.

They both shown class and maturity.

You know, it occurs to me that if you put Paris Hilton in LPGA events and Bubbles in jail, we wouldn't notice much of a difference.

Maybe Wie will "get spiritual" too.
I understand and agree with HipHopGolf in 1$& 2, but #3? It seems they are more sexist than racist. A real man would have confidence and let her play with the men and not be bothered by her entourage.
Paris is a stereotypical blonde- dumb and not talent.

Top,

A real man would not allow women to intrude where they don't belong because he wouldn't be hen-pecked.

Judge,
There are no rules saying that she does not belong. Sure, she should stick her biswax with the LPGA. However, if I were playing, I would not pay attention to her at all. If the players paid attention to her, they would feel hen-pecked. If they let her bother them, it would screw their game.
