Michelle Wie needs to hang around more chefs. World-renowned chef Paul Prudhomme was shot with a 22 calibre bullet while he was cooking at a tent near the PGA Tour event.

He thought it was a bee sting at first, according to the Associated Press, but discovered the bullet after shaking his sleeve.

Authorities suspect the bullet came from a gun fired within a mile and a half radius of the event.

Sort of makes Wie’s mysterious wrist injuries pale by comparison.

Tim,

I've known a few guys who were seriously wounded by mortar fire who didn't take as long to recover as Bubbles has from he "tweaked" wrists.

I wouldn't put to much faith in whoever estimated that a .22 caliber round could have been fired at Paul from a mile and one half away.

One might travel that far if it were fired from atop a 40-story building. But at that distance it would have very little force behind it.

This guy is so fat he could take a .44 and not feel a thing.

Robert,

Actually, Paul Prudhomme went on a diet regimen a few years ago and shed about half his weight.

I'm not sure if he has kept it off.

I'd hazard a guess Nike doesn't allow anyone with a firearm within TWO miles of MW...especially board members! ;)
