Hey Bill, you say Will didn't answer any of your questions, but I searched your entire comment for a question mark and came up empty handed! A question mark is a symbol used at the end of a question, as in:
Did anyone else notice Bill tried to sneak in a little namecalling with his use of the word idiot?
HEHEHEHEHE*KABLAM*

I don't blame Will for not responding, people like you aren't going to listen no matter how many facts you are presented with. I won't label that extreme behavior conservative, however, as I've seen you use the line "typical liberal" all too much.

I have never been quite sure why people listen to Al Franken, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Moore, Howard Stern, and others of that ilk. It would seem more reasonable to try to find a commentator, who, after careful study, and with an open, inquiring mind did his best to accurately define issues and offer plausible well-thought-out attempts at solutions.

To elaborate on Limbaugh's comments re. Chelsea Clinton when she was 13, I believe that he suggested she looked like a dog.

Talk about someone that needs to told to pick on someone his own size.

Speaking of name-calling, how about Mr. Limbaugh's use of the term "feminazi".

And there was his classy ridiculing of Chelsea Clinton when she was 13 years old. Nice guy.

Bill,

I guess you didn't get William's hint that you're misusing ellipses. There likely is information available on the web about it.

As for Mr. Limbaugh, here are some quotations of his I found regarding drug use and what should be done to drug users:

"What this says to me is that too many whites are getting away with drug use. Too many whites are getting away with drug sales. Too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we're not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too." 10/5/95

"When you strip it all away, Jerry Garcia destroyed his life on drugs. And yet he's being honored, like some godlike figure. Our priorities are out of whack, folks." 8/20/95

"I want to let you read along with me a quote from Jerry Colangelo about substance abuse, and I think you'll find that he's very much right…'I know every expert in the world will disagree with me, but I don't buy into the disease part of it. The first time you reach for a substance you are making a choice. Every time you go back, you are making a personal choice. I feel very strongly about that.'... " 9/23/93

"In the audio link below, I go into detail about these non-thinking talking points that 'you can't tell people what to do with their bodies' and 'you can't legislate morality.' First of all, we tell people what they can do to their bodies all the time--no cocaine, no prostitution, no throwing yourself off a building. Second, laws are nothing but defining morality! " 6/27/03

He does seem to have a double standard--send drug users to prison, except when it's himself.

By the way, the drugs he was abusing are legal to use only with a valid prescription. He didn't have a valid prescription, so his drug use was illegal.
