On the latest TravelGolf.com This Week podcast, host Dave Berner brings in experts to talk about everything from great courses in Ireland, New York and Pennsylvania, to getting free lessons this month, to the secrets of a beverage cart girl.

In Ireland, great golf can be found in unfamiliar places, as National Golf Editor Tim McDonald tells us about Ireland’s hidden secrets in Part I of this interview.

“There’s a lot of courses that you just stumble on to if you drive around the country,” McDonald says. “There’s always something to see over there.”

Golf for Beginners hosts Stacy and Barry Solomon talk about their hometown of Westchester, N.Y., which is just around the corner from this year’s U.S. Open location of Winged Foot Golf Club.

“If they’re looking for a little more upscale golf course, Putnam National is about a half hour from Winged Foot,” Barry says.

Chris Baldwin talks about Butler County, Pa., and the amazing golf deals you can get in that scenic part of Western Pennsylvania that’s not too far from Pittsburgh.

PGA of America Director of Instruction Rick Martino talks about how PGA Professionals are working to get people into the game. May is PGA Free Lesson Month!

Nicole Kallis, the Tee Time Girl, talks about her new book Secrets of a Tee Time Girl: Golfers, Scandals and the Beverage Cart.

“There’s a certain mystique about the beverage cart girl. I ask them if they want to take a look at my chest - my ice chest,” Nicole says.
