Podcast host Dave Berner welcomes TravelGolf.com National Golf Editor Tim McDonald who says he’s found one of the cheapest cities for golf in America: Gainesville, Florida.

“They call themselves the last bastion of affordable golf,” McDonald says. “Really the reason they say that is there aren’t a lot of options. It turns out they haven’t built any new golf course in the last 20-25 years.”

Fall golf is here in the Midwest, and Michigan’s Brandon Tucker offers his advice on golf deals in the Wolverine state.

“In September you should be okay with long pants and short sleeves,” says Tucker. “It doesn’t really get too nasty until late October.”

Prague is one of Europe’s most dynamic and artistic cities, but how’s the golf?

“Golf in the Czech Republic dates back quite far,” says Executive Editor Mark Nessmith. “During communism the game lagged, but going on 15 years since the Velvet Revolution, it’s really back with vengeance.”

This podcast is supported by Pioneer Golf and Florida Golf Travel.
