Golf in Myrtle Beach with less hassle? It can be done says TravelGolf.com National Editor Tim McDonald. In this episode of the TravelGolf.com This Week podcast, McDonald talks with host Dave Berner about how to get the most from your trip to the Grand Strand, without feeling stressed.

McDonald says that, if you’re willing to spend a little extra money, multi-course resort is your best bet, and he chooses.

“You can just stay at the resort and in some cases play three or four courses. I rated Bearfoot Resort and Golf the best resort in the Grand Strand. What sets them apart is they have four courses and three of them are really exceptional, the Davis Love, Tom Fazio and Pete Dye courses,” said McDonald.

Equipment editor Kiel Christianson talks about Golf Digest’s Annual Hot list of equipment and he and Berner discuss whether the magazine is biased toward the big golf companies. Christianson also lets you know whether a putter made from bull penis actually works.

Finally, in the off-course segment, Bill Wolfrum talks about taking his brother-in-law golfing, and creating a golf monster in the process.

This podcast is supported by Pioneer Golf and Florida Golf Travel.
