The PGA Tour stars tee it up this week at the John Deere Classic at the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to TravelGolf.com’s Kiel Christianson about playing TPC Deere Run.

“That course has got some wonderful elevation changes, some elevated tees and great elevated views over the Rock River,” Christianson says. “It’s picturesque - and it’s a hike. Walking it takes a lot out of you.”

A round of golf is never better than with a knowledgeable caddie. A new company, CaddiesToGo.com, can get you a caddie on any course in the country.

“Golfers can go on the Web site and book a caddie for whatever course they’re playing,” says company founder Matt Lindahl. “This is our first year launching, and we’re in Chicago right now. But we will be expanding to other areas, including Las Vegas and parts of South Carolina.”

In this week’s ‘What Do You Like’ segment TravelGolf.com blogger T.R. Massey talks about the Q-Link golf pendant.

“The company purports that this thing makes you have more energy and be more focused on the golf course,” Massey says. “I’ve been wearing it, and I absolutely don’t notice any difference whatsoever.”

Plus, Berner explains WorldGolf.com’s Golf Book Giveaway, which gives readers the chance to win a free Gotham golf book by submitting a review of a golf course at WorldGolf.com.

This podcast is supported by Pioneer Golf and Florida Golf Travel.
