Few feelings compare to that of nailing a hole in one on the golf course. In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to WorldGolf.com’s Bill Wolfrum about several aces making news lately.

“ESPN has been hitting this [story] kind of hard lately, which is weird, but it’s a lady who’s been talking about how she’s gotten six holes in one over the last six months or something. She’s really been out of control,” Wolfrum says. “Now they’re trying to figure out if that’s true, if she’s not making this up.”

What are the world’s best golf courses? Author Darius Oliver uncovers the globe’s greatest in his new book, “Planet Golf.”

“The golf book itself is mostly about the golf layouts themselves, and how good they are,” Oliver says. “It’s written from an architectural design standpoint, but with an emphasis on the history and heritage of how the golf course evolved into its present form and what makes the golf course itself so good.”

Golf apparel isn’t just for golf anymore, according to Equipment Editor Kiel Christianson.

“I find golf apparel these days to be really interesting and refreshing in that you don’t feel like you’ve got a separate wardrobe for golf versus everything else,” Christianson says.

This podcast is supported by Scotland Golf Tours and Golf Canada’s West.
