In this week’s podcast, Equipment Editor Kiel Christianson talks to host Dave Berner about PowerBuilt’s new FZ-1 line, which has Fuzzy Zoeller as an endorser and looks to bring PowerBuilt back to its glory days.

“They’re trying to bring back some of those glory days, their new Citation FZ-1 Driver 460cc is one of the big-head drivers, they’re very nice looking clubs” Christianson said. “They’re so new they’re not even on the PowerBuilt Web site yet.”

Golf writer Mike Bailey talks about golf in Las Vegas, including his round at Rio Secco Golf Club.

“They’re doing something unique, by the way,” they’re transitioning to Bermuda. So they did not overseed, and come March they’re going to be very glad they did it,” said Bailey, who admitted to four-putting twice on the tough greens. “It’s a very good course … Some spectacular views of the city.”

Finally, Brandon Tucker found some fun gadgets at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.

“I was checking out some of the gadgets, the new kind of quirky things that would change your game forever,” said Tucker. “I think some of these I’m about to talk about are kind of ridiculous, but I’ll let the listener decide.”

This podcast is supported by St. Andrews Golf Tours, Premiere Golf and MyrtleBeachGolf.com.
