In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to Jay Overton, director of golf at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida, about the reason behind the prestigious facility’s ongoing makeover.

“The main thing is we really hadn’t had any capital infusion into the property in years, and over a period of time the technology of the game catches up with some of the older golf courses,” Overton says.

LasVegasGolf.com is offering beautiful women as caddies to visiting golfers, says the site’s John DeMarco.

“These are professionally trained caddies. They’re females, they happen to be very attractive, and they understand the game of golf,” DeMarco says.

Plus, Berner considers the relationship between the game of golf and the United States presidency.

“The president who really brought the game to Americans is Dwight Eisenhower,” Berner says. “He was a fanatic, loved Augusta and played many times with Arnold Palmer.”

This podcast is supported by Arizona Golf Packages.
