In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to TravelGolf.com’s Brandon Tucker about the site’s new feature linking college football and golf.

“It’s called TravelGolf.com On Campus,” Tucker says. “Think of it kind of like ESPN College GameDay, but instead of talking about running backs and zone blocking, we’re going to focus on the town’s golf.”

Thus far, the series has spotlighted golf in Eugene, Ore., Gainesville, Fla. and Los Angeles.

Michael Breed, head golf professional at Sunningdale Country Club in New York, talks about being named one of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers, who have contributed articles to a new book, “How to Hit Every Shot.”

“It’s overwhelming at times, but it’s a nice way to be recognized,” says Breed, a PGA member. “I’ve been lucky. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a lot of people who’ve had some real success.”

Berner also speaks with a top LPGA instructor, Beverly Ferguson of Bridges at Rancho Sante Fe Golf Club in California.
