In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to Skip Davis, director of sales at The Bridges at Preston Crossing near Gunter, Texas, about the Fred Couples-designed golf course.

“It’s Fred Couples’ first signature golf course in Texas,” Davis says. “I think Freddy’s first venture into Texas is certainly a plus for us.”

Author Joe Redden Tigan talks about his recent addition to the canon of golf fiction, “Waggle.”

“It’s a fictional account of four men playing a round of golf in the Chicago-land area in 2003,” Tigan says.

How do you keep your golf game sharp during the winter? Chuck Evans of the Medicus Golf Institute offers a few tips.

“The best way to do that is to have a little indoor place” to practice, Evans says. “All you need is mirrors, tape and flashlights to make a really good golf swing [studio] to keep yourself in shape.”

This podcast is supported by Walters Golf in Las Vegas.
