Golf writers on McCain-Palin, tips from noted golf instructor Chuck Evans, Christianson on the Groove Tube putter

In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to TravelGolf.com’s writers about the U.S. presidential candidates.
“The one area where John McCain really dominates as far as getting the vote among golfers is those who get into angry fits of rage following a bad shot and either hurl their club into the water, smash it against a tree or bash it against a cart,” says William K. Wolfrum. “That’s McCain’s base, really.”
Then Berner taps our Washington D.C. correspondent, Brandon Tucker, for a little insight on how Sarah Palin is like Michelle Wie.
“The whole Wie saga is repeating itself almost in lockstep with Palin, and it’s fascinating,” Tucker says. “For starters, both are from outside the continental 48.”
Noted golf instructor Chuck Evans explains what most amateurs do wrong when they’re playing golf.
Plus, WorldGolf.com’s equipment guru, Kiel Christianson, talks about the Groove Tube putter from Yes! Golf.
“This is the most bizarre looking putter of this year,” he says.

Are there no subversive pro golfers to compare with Obama or Biden?
Obama was born in Hawaii and moved to Indonesia...we could have compared him to Michelle Wie, now couldn't we?
Come on guys...fair and balanced reporting please.
Obama was NOT born in Hawaii, he was born in Kenya which makes him ineligible to be the president. Do your research...who in the hell is comparing Obama with Michelle Wie?
Hmmm...would you consider CBS News fair and balanced?
Joe Cool, there should be just as much comparison between Obama and Michelle Wie as there is between Palin and Wie. Sorry, I just don't get the reference.

True or false?
I am currently a Democrat but now I'm considering becoming an Independent.
I don't like where the Democratic party is heading.
We're all entitled to our opinions, how ever divergent they may be. I might try to convince you of the awesomeness of Tiger Woods...sorry, I meant Barack Obama, and you might try to convince me of the wisdom and rightness of that hot lady.... what's her name? oh yes, Sarah Palin. But in the end we're going to go out an vote for the one we feel best represents what we stand for. And that's going to be different things for different people.
Anyway, I've decided not to reveal my persuasions for fear of offending someone. ;o)
Hmm, that sounded weird. I think you know what I meant ;)
I know the blog says that I compare the two because of their locations...
But listen to the 9 other reasons that are even more eye-opening.. It's really more about their celebrity and how they are covered than anyone's politics. I leave the politics to Wolf.
The only way you can receive "fair and balanced" information is by diversifying your news outlets. Spread the wealth around.
Can you imagine with those short arms.
He would need kiddie golf clubs.
Let's settle this race with a pick-up basketball game between Obama and McBush. Or Obama and Pale-in.
Wonder why that is? Could it be that most people who WORK for their money object to the Democrats' plan to take MORE of it and give it to slugs who produce nothing except crack-addicted babies?? I know that's what has ME 'polarized'! ;)
Then again, if we do go out of our collective minds and elect Barack Hussein Obama - *I* will do a Wolfie and move to New Zealand!
You have to understand the mentality of a Wolfie. To such a leftist, his own ideology determines the center; such a person is extremely solipsistic. Thus, it means nothing to him that, unlike mainstream media networks, FOX presents people from both sides of the aisle in equal numbers (this can be proven with a cursory analysis). It only matters that they don't reflect the Wolfie's biases and prejudices; that is enough to prove they're slanted.
Having said this, Tucker is correct in saying that you really need to diversify your information sources (omitting the mainstream media, which has descended into pure propaganda). Of course, though, I doubt Tucker actually does this in any kind of beneficial way. Hey, Tuck, what does diversifying information sources mean to you? Do you log on to WorldNetDaily.com, Jihad Watch and NewsBusters.org as well as your left-wing standbys? Nah, I'm sure diversity to you means the DailyKos, Moveon.stupid and the Huffington Compost. LOL.
I like factcheck.org and realclearpolitics.com...Though Hannity and Olberman are fun to watch when you haven't gotten into an argument with anyone all day.
I do believe that someday, on some subject you will delight us all by giving your thoughts after at very least giving the subject "cursory analysis."
Don't be upset simply because I've got your number. And mind your tongue when addressing your betters, boy!
Tuck,
FactCheck.org is not always so factual. Check this link here: http://patterico.net/2008/09/23/unmitigated-garbage-from-factcheckorg-on-obamas-second-amendment-record/
BTW, Btuck, here's another link that totally refutes Factcheck.org:
