In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to Tim Hurja of PalmSpringsGolfCentral.com about great deals on winter golf trips to Palm Springs and San Diego.

“We’re going right into our peak season,” Hurja says. “This is the time when we see all the snowbirds coming down. With everything going on in the economy, I’m seeing so many specials going on right now.”

TravelGolf.com’s Kiel Christianson talks about Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Rockwall, Texas, just outside Dallas.

“I haven’t played a lot of Texas golf courses,” Christianson says. “This is one I hadn’t heard of. It turned out to be a lovely course all the way around.”

Plus, WorldGolf.com’s Mike Bailey says you should start paying attention to those middle-range golf balls.

“I think where you’re really seeing the improvement [in golf balls] is in the mid-priced balls,” Bailey says.

This podcast is supported by Walter’s Golf in Las Vegas and San Diego Golf Central.
