In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to Pete McDaniel, co-writer of the Golf Channel’s new documentary “Uneven Fairways.”

“It’s the story of the black golf tours, the negro league of golf,” McDaniel says. “The story of some people who were very determined to play the game of golf … because they had a distinct love of the game of golf and were determined to pursue a career in it.”

Arizona golf can be pretty expensive. But Jack LaRue of Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia says his club is a deal.

“We are really a high-end type golf club similar to a lot of the clubs you’ll find in the Scottsdale area, but we’re located in the west side of the valley in Peoria,” LaRue says. “But the nice thing is that because of that we have West Valley type pricing.”

Plus, TravelGolf.com Equipment Editor Kiel Christianson talks about the new Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.

This podcast is supported by Walter’s Golf in Las Vegas and San Diego Golf Central.
