In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to TravelGolf.com’s Brandon Tucker about Scotland’s new high-end, Tom Doak-designed golf course, the Renaissance Club in North Berwick.

“It’s probably the best Doak course I’ve played,” Tucker says. “It’s just got a great look to it.”

TravelGolf.com’s Mike Bailey says Virginia is a wonderful destination for a golf vacation.

“It’s a great place to visit,” Bailey says. “There’s a lot to do besides playing golf.”

You may not have heard of it, but you should check out Hireko Golf’s equipment, especially in these tough economic times, says TravelGolf.com Equipment Editor Kiel Christianson.

“In the best of times sometimes it’s hard to scrape together the 399 bucks for a driver,” Christianson says. “In these times, especially, if you’re shopping around for some equipment – something that’s solid, that won’t break the bank, is even more welcome.”

(Note: Read Kiel’s recent review of Hireko Golf’s Acer XK clubs.)
