In this week’s podcast, host podcast, host Dave Berner talks to Sports Illustrated’s Damon Hack about experiencing first hand the dramatic British Open face-off between Stewart Cink and Tom Watson.

“Being out there walking the course with Tom – the last four or five holes, looking at my fellow sports writers, and all of us giddy about the possibility of what might happen,” Hack says. “We’re objective, but at the end of the day we root for the story. And there would have been no bigger story had Tom Watson at age 59 won the British Open.”

TravelGolf.com’s Mike Bailey praises golf in Branson, Missouri, where he played the new Payne Stewart Golf Club.

“They really did a great job of telling the Payne Stewart story,” Bailey says. “I thought it was really well done and very interesting. There’s placards at every hole that give you an anecdote about Payne Stewart.”
