In this week’s podcast, host Dave Berner talks to TravelGolf.com’s Kiel Christianson about the BMW Championship’s host, Cog Hill Golf and Country Club’s Dubsdread course near Chicago.

“Cog Hill’s Dubsdread course is one of the preeminent public courses in the country,” Christianson says. “It has a long, competitive history.”

WorldGolf.com Senior Writer Mike Bailey talks about five must-play courses in San Antonio.

“It’s definitely emerging as a good golf town,” Bailey said. “It used to not be that way. You only had a few good courses. … San Antonio has really changed its focus to being more of a tourist town than it was 15-20 years ago.”

Plus, PGA Hall of Fame member Gary Wiren - director of instruction for Donald Trump Golf Properties and founder of Golf Around the World - discusses some of the worst advice to give when teaching the golf game.

“Keep your head down,” Wiren gave as an example. “It’s a killer because it destroys any real clubhead speed.”

This podcast is supported by Walters Golf in Las Vegas and Arizona Golf Packages.
