Tahoe is one of my ultimate getaway weekend destinations for the very reasons you talked about. Living for a long time in Los Angeles, it was always a huge relief to be able to leave early on a Friday afternoon and spend the weekend golfing and spa-ing in Tahoe. Not sure I'm too thrilled about you spreading the word far and wide, but I can't fault your taste in perfect golf destinations!

I'd have to say Vancouver is a most beautiful city, and I do very much love to golf there. Course, your months for good golfing are limited, not only by the short summer but the year round threats of haze, fog and rain. But let me tell you, on the right day in Vancouver, you could swear you were golfing in heaven!

I've played a number of Korean courses from my time doing business there. I'd have to say that though the amenities (club house, pro shop etc.) were not always as polished as their Japanese or Western counterparts, the courses themselves were always impeccable and challenging. It took not much effort to let my hosts win more often than not!
