SNOWSHOE, WV (MARCH 1, 2001) - The award-winning Hawthorne Valley Golf Course is changing its name to The Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain.

Raven is a branded network of golf clubs committed to providing discerning players with unforgettable, high-quality golf experiences unique to their environments and backed by superior course conditioning and outstanding guest service.

There are two concepts that form the foundation of the design of the Raven Golf Clubs, drama and playability. The courses capture mind and spirit, offering challenging yet fair tests of golf, and beautiful undisturbed natural surroundings.
