TravelGolf.com Staff Report
Low rates from March 12 – April 12, 2001
TUCKER’S TOWN, Bermuda (MARCH 15, 2001) -- Pink Beach Club and Cottages in Bermuda has linked with the 18-hole Riddells Bay golf course to offer a golf package for guests seeking challenging play and a luxury vacation experience. The Pink Beach Club Golf Package features:
-- Oceanview Junior Suite accommodations for two, for a six-day/five-night
stay;
-- Full English breakfast and afternoon tea daily followed by
a five-course gourmet dinner each evening;
-- Nightly entertainment;
-- Two rounds of golf, per person, at Riddells Bay, the oldest
golf course in Bermuda (built in 1922);
-- Two Pink Beach Club sun visors and golf towels;
-- All hotel taxes and gratuities.
According to the Bermuda Department of Tourism’s Golf Guide, “Riddells Bay provides a challenge to one’s golf game and camera. With its tight fairways and small, narrow greens, accuracy is the name of the game. Additional pleasure (or perhaps vexation, depending on your performance) is gained by the proximity of some holes to the ocean.”
In March, the average temperature in Bermuda is 70ºF, perfect for golfing, and low-season Golf Package rates are in effect. From March 12 – April 12, 2001, rates start at $2,620 for the six-day/five-night Golf Package for two people sharing one room.
From April 13 - Nov. 15, 2001, rates begin at $3,324 for the six-day/five-night Golf Package for two people sharing one room. Transportation expenses to Riddells Bay are additional.
