CHICAGO (March 16, 2001)-- Eagle Eye Golf out of Chicago, Illinois
has introduced a revolutionary tee sign for American Golf Courses.
Using aerial photography, they are able to produce tee signs that allow golfers an entirely different perspective of each hole played. Photographs shot from 3,000 feet in the air now provide golfers with entirely accurate, and awe-inspiring views like never seen before.
Having worked on this project for the last 4 years, the company's founder, Jeffrey Wilson, saw a terrific opportunity to mess with tradition. A marketing man by trade, and teamed up with Dan Geisheker, a Chicago marketing guru, they took the old version of the golf tee sign and made a few "changes".
Golfers are now able to see precisely the shape of any hole, exact yardages to bunkers, dog-legs, or water, and are able to re-think the way they would normally play any particular hole.

Reaction to these tee signs in their launch market of Chicago and Northwest Indiana has been outstanding. With 20 courses now under the belt, they now intend to be working with an additional 240 courses throughout the US by the end of this year.
By providing bill-board style advertising space that allows for
four-color digital imaging (no limit to graphics) under each,
they are able to supply their new version of the golf tee sign
to courses at absolutely no cost.
With big-ticket clients such as Pepsi, Penske, and Buick on their side, Eagle Eye has a lot of area courses talking.
Called by the Golf Channel as being "the obvious choice" at last year's PGA Merchandise Show, Eagle Eye has made no less than 20 design changes to ensure that this revolutionary product remains in terrific shape for many years.
