ITHICA, NY (April 30, 2001) - Explore Ithaca, New York, on the Discovery Trail this summer!

The Cayuga Nature Center, Cornell Plantations, Herbert H. Johnson Museum of Art, Paleontological Research Institution, Sciencenter, Tompkins County Museum and the Tompkins County Public Library have joined together to form the Discovery Trail, celebrating the connections between art, history, science and the natural world.

And while you are there discover Dutch Hollow Country Club, a semi-private golf facility in Owasco, New York.

Designed by architect, Wilfred S. Hall, Dutch Hollow was opened in 1965 in the scenic Owasco Valley. Dutch Hollow Brook meanders through the course, coming into play on seven holes. This upstate New York beauty is in great condition and a short drive from Syracuse, Cortland, Auburn and Ithaca.

The golf course measures 6,500 yards and plays to a par 71. You will find a full practice facility that includes a large natural turf hitting areas, practice bunker and putting and chipping green.

Green Fees are only $20 on the weekdays and $22 on weekends and holidays. Cart fees are $24 per cart for 18 holes. Weekday special is $32 for cart and golf and that includes lunch and free logo golf ball. There are also senior and twilight fees and other specials. Call for details at 315-784-5052.
