Biloxi -- poor man's Vegas

Biloxi is sort of the poor man’s Vegas. You see a lot more RVs than you do limos, and they have Hank Williams and Minnie Pearl impersonators to go along with the usual quota of Elvis look-alikes.

But, it’s a low-key, unpretentious sort of place where you can play golf during the day and gamble to your heart’s content at night – at substantially lower prices than Vegas. This is Biloxi’s high season, and you won’t find green fees over $100. Costs that much in Vegas to have the ball boys wipe down your clubs.

When you’re leaving the Biloxi casinos, don’t be surprised to hear somebody say – you guessed it – “ya’ll come back now.”

Dear Sir, I have been a fan of the Hank Sr.. Since I was 6. Now I'm 51. I remember as a child of 10 my daddy used to take me to a local (as they were called back then) a gin-mill and sat my on the counter then put a dime in the jukebox and I would belt out a few verses of Lovesick Blues and after I finished with that song I would get at the time a lot of money $20 to be exact. Oh Lordy I miss those times; but those days are long gone and so is my Dad. I lost him last year of Cancer at age 69. Those memories will remain in my heart until the day God calls me to a better land. I am so glad that there
are people out there keeping the memory of A true legend Hank Williams Sr. alive. There are some who say there will never be another Hank Williams. So, why is every other man trying to act like him and make money off his name and I say to these people "What is wrong with these entertainers keeping the
memory of Hank alive? I congratulate all you guys and for what you are doing. Well you see Sir, I'm bitter because my health is bad. In October 2003 I had my 3rd near fatal heart attack. I was clinically dead for 45 minutes and believe me when I say on that operating table I saw Jesus. He was wearing a
scarlet robe and held my hand and he told me everything is going to be
alright. I believe in God now more than ever before. Just 2 months ago I
suffered a stroke that took the memry part of my brain and all I got to say
is I'm still here. I thank God for every day I awake. I don't have
money nor can I afford anything because I'm on a very, very low fixed
income so I'm asking you for cd's especially and an autograph picture of
yourself impersonating Hank I would greatly appreciate it and if you can't I will understand. May Gods richness Bless you the coming year and by the
way, you sound fantastically like Hank Sr.. Keep up the good work...Godspeed. Edward
