The Rebel has no problem dishing it out. I will sling the cow paddies until the cows actually come home. And I am loving how Tim McDonald is blogging it up about the prissy media types who write nothing more than PR crap that confuses and misleads the public. His media column that he writes every month is worth you taking time away from your job to read on work hours.

Robert Thompson, a National Post columnist, is blogging some good stuff as well. His blog…
Robert Thompson’s Going For The Green

He states…
Good to see Tiger in the hunt, even if it is just Doral. Dick Wilson may have been a strong architect, but a lot of his courses are dull. The Blue Monster seems to me to be an example of that, though Craig Parry’s eagle to end last year’s tournament was exciting. Wilson seems to be of the penal school of architecture. His work at Royal Montreal, which has hosted the Canadian Open a couple of times, makes the course difficult, but loved by few. I can’t say I’ve played many Wilson designs, so maybe I’m wrong, but that’s my take based on what I’ve seen.

This man deserves some love. Wilson’s courses can lack some imagination and I think that is why Thompson calls them “dull".
