Lehigh Valley Introduces Waitless Golf

Plentiful Tee Times and Plush Courses Await in the Lehigh Valley
LEHIGH VALLEY, PA (March 7, 2002) The Lehigh Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to introduce a novel concept in the northeast United States -- WAITLESS GOLF. As spring rapidly approaches, golfers up and down the east coast are conflicted; while they look forward to warm sun, plush courses and the smell of freshly-cut greens, they dread the endless lines and elusive tee times that await. Finally, there is an answer! The Lehigh Valley, located within 90 minutes of New York City, Philadelphia, northern New Jersey and Harrisburg, offers manicured public courses, tee times a-plenty and affordable, all-inclusive packages sure to satisfy even the most fastidious golf enthusiast.
A new 16-page booklet details the 2002 Lehigh Valley golf packages and is available free through the Lehigh Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau. Each package includes overnight accommodations at one of 12 area hotels, breakfast and 18 holes of golf, including greens fee with cart and course tax. Packages start at just $75.00 per person and run from April through December.
