BOLTON LANDING, NY - The Sagamore and LPGA Pro Jackie Bertsch-Bro inspire women golfers to fine tune their golf skills at a golf clinic and tournament Sunday, May 19 through Wednesday May 22, 2002.
Providing personalized on-course and hands-on instruction to each participant, with an instructor for every six golfers, The Sagamore's Women's Golf Clinic features a three-night, four-day package starting at $1,034 per person, double occupancy. The package includes:
• Sixteen hours of drill and on-course instruction with Jackie Bertsch-Bro
• Golf each day (tee times must be made directly with Pro Shop when not with the group)
• Welcome reception and dinner Sunday evening
• Dinner on own Monday evening
• Golf tournament on Tuesday afternoon
• Awards dinner Tuesday evening
• Continental breakfast and lunch at the Club Grill on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Golf instruction and play will be held in intimate classes on The Sagamore's championship 18-hole, par 70 golf course, designed and built by Donald Ross in 1928. Shaped in traditional Ross style, the course offers undulating greens and fairways lined with white birches and giant pines, resplendent views of Lake George as well as challenging golf for players of all abilities.
Guests have the option to stay in one of the historic hotel's 100 guest rooms or in the recently renovated lodge rooms and lodge suites designed in a charming, Adirondack-style and featuring separate dining areas and terraces in the suites.
Package rates, based on double occupancy, are: $1,034 for a Lodge Room; $1,128 for a Hotel Room; $1,200 for a Lodge Suite, and $1,330 for a Lakeview Hotel Suite. Other accommodation choices are offered and taxes and service charges are additional. The package is subject to availability.
In addition to golf, guests can enjoy a variety of water sports right from The Sagamore's own island including boating, kayaking and fishing.
