All around beautiful course
This course it truly beautiful. The hotel has incredible food and the atmosphere is glorious. It’s hard to beat!
Course was okay, but a little disappointed this time.
Great location and the weather was nice. Felt a little like the riff raff though at the country club, as our carts were not working properly. The touch screen on the gps system on one cart was not working and the other cart’s battery went dead toward the end of the round. Greens were mostly in good shape, but one of the par 3’s was in pretty bad shape for this kind of course. I was also disappointed with GolfNow, when after modifying the number of players from four to three players due to a medical emergency, that they do not refund the money because it was a hot deal, but they still offer the the extra spot on their site and most likely got paid twice for the same reservation. Their rewards they offered are useless to me for the times I can play. Kinda of a joke. Getting that off my chest, it was still a great time with friends!
Wonderful course but very slow pace of play
Based on what I read I was very excited to play this course. When I played the course it was everything I hoped it would be. The only problem was the pace of play particularly on the back nine was really bad. I ended up walking off the course with four holes to play. That’s something I don’t do because I love to golf and particularly love to golf on a beautiful course. I would have given this course five stars on value for the money as it’s worth every nickel. I just wish they would’ve managed the slow novice golfers in the groups ahead of us better.
Beautiful course
Quintessential Southern California golf. Great layout. Beautiful weather. Awesome attention to detail.
Green Bliss
Best Course in the Central Coast Area. Others just don't compare.
Picturesque holes surrounded by sculptured hills and valleys.
The course is beautiful
No matter how beautiful the course, when the pace of play is awful, the cart GPS not working and the drink cart missing in action most of the day, it is not possible to have a great day of golf. Many people complained, just too many party groups with no supervision. People were leaving the course. This is not normal for this course, so I'm hoping that they will resolve their issues.
Play a golf course design by the same Architect that did LACC Riviera and Bel Air.
Country club vibe without the dues and the initiation fee. Highly recommended.
Sleepy Ojai is a must play
What a wonderful day and round at Ojai Vally. Excellent layout, tee boxes were excellent, greens in great condition. Course has a lot of character, challenging but still fun. A must play course in California.
Lovely Day
Two of us played/rode 18 holes at our own pace. We tee'd up any the appointed hour with no one in sight, and only saw another twosome come up behind us a few holes. They were enjoying their day, and declined to play through. Tee to green, the course is beautiful, and in perfect condition. The first nine are a scenic gem, with some intriguing layouts . I hadn't played here since rumored accidental chemical destruction of a few putting surfaces. The greens were positioned as they always were, but my partner pointed out some evidence of damage repair on a few. The view of absolute perfection was spoiled, but it really didn't affect play at all.
