Pelican Hill: Almost Worth the Money
This is a great course with stunning ocean views on many holes. The course was in beautiful condition except for the bunkers which were like any typical resort course loaded with footprints because of lazy golfers who don't rake them. The greens were slick with putts close to the whole continuing to run out. I'll go back to play the South Course, but with so many golf courses to play, I don't think I'll pay $415 dollars to play it again.

Very well maintained course and a staff that goes above and beyond for a great experience! Great pace of play and a course that is every bit as challenging and fun as it is beautiful.
Magnificent
First off, if you can, book a stay to go along with the golf; from the second you turn onto the entrance road, you’ll understand. The North has a nice secluded feel, being tucked away pretty well from roads and houses. Favorite hole was the 18th. No complaints worth mentioning, however, if you’re searching for perfection, Journey at Pechanga comes closer, and if you like the option to walk, it’s Trump National in Palos Verdes.
Play the south
The north is less enjoyable than the south and obviously impacted by watering restrictions
Pelican Hill
Pelican Hill has 2 beautiful Fazio courses. Played the North this time. Perfect condition.
Expensive but good.
Staffs were kind, green's condition was good. I enjoyed all with beautiful ocean view.
Wow
Pelican delivered on what it promised. Great golfing with amazing views. Make sure you bring stuff to change and shower to maximize your experience; this includes the dining options. Definitely a bucket list kind of thing.
What’s with those practice tees for the cash paid?
Overall had a really great time on a fun and challenging course. It starts off with the practice tees. It’s mats (which is OK maybe). But like hit on a waterbed The mats might be a great training aide for playing in conditions where rain water is trapped under grass. $340 have some good practice tees.
The course was great. Great views, nice tee boxes, fairways and greens. Played with a Marshall that just finished his shift and he was helpful and a great guy. Thanks to the staff overall, great experience.
1st time - probably last time at Pelican Hill
While the location of the course and the ocean views are amazing, the cost is exorbitant compared to other local courses. The North course was challenging but fun to play. We certainly enjoyed our round but were disappointed with the food service. The cart that come around twice had limited food and beverage options. Granted we were playing a bit slower pace, but given the challenge of the course, especially for first timers, some consideration should be given before marshals tell us to pick up the pace.
wow
an absolutely awesome day golfing at such a beautiful venue. staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating..course is in great shape and challenging
Beautiful course
Very friendly off the tee. Tough to hold a green. Putts break different then you think. Not an ocean course but plenty of ocean views. Great one time play.
