Very Good Course
Course was in very good condition. Bermuda roughs at about 4" were very unforgiving, ball sank to bottom. Greens were very slow. Fairways were excellent. They were in the process of re-sanding the traps. A couple of the holes had blind shot, good thing I was paired with a local. 19th hole was a very friendly place with great food and drinks. Definitely worth playing again.
Nice Course
Beautiful course with a friendly staff. Plenty of wildlife and great scenery to enjoy. Enjoy outstanding burgers in the clubhouse after your round at Bogey's.
Wet
This is a good golf course, however, the greens are decent for the amount of rain they had. Its really wet right now, once it drys out and they cut the greens, will be perfect.
Wet, but Still Playable!
My group of 3 were the first ones off on Saturday morning immediately after heavy rain. Cart path only made for slow going, especially with no roll and we always seemed to be opposite the path! A couple of greens were spotty but course in pretty good shape overall. Course drains fairly well and even as wet as it was, we had an enjoyable round! Love the mini corn- dog bites with a hard cider afterwards!!
Highly Recommend...
Not sure what u000004205924 was talking about. Apparently, neither is he. Course was aerated on 8/5-8/8, thus the sand on the greens. Maybe this guy was a first timer but this course is typically in great shape and the staff are always very nice and professional. Food in the grille is top notch and the beer is always cold.
What a pleasure!
My wife and I have played a ton of courses and this hidden jewel was the first one that give a s senior woman a real distance break with the gold tees that were forward of the red tees. The track is great an it was just fun to play. It was also full of beauty and nature. We will absolutely play it again. If your looking for stress free golf in a friendly atmosphere, look no further. Thanks for a great day!
5 star all the way
This is my home course and I love it. Ronnie and Joyce Tyre have tirelessly work to bring this course back to tip top shape. Our golf course and our community are blessed to have them. The course is ladies and seniors friendly, and the scenery and wildlife are an added benefit.
Don’t go!
Course is a complete mess! The greens are actually sand traps with holes. The fairways and rough probably haven’t been cut in a month. It looks like they fired all the groundskeepers!
FIRST VISIT
HAVE A FRIEND THAT RECENTLY MOVED INTO THE AREA SO DECIDED TO CHECK IT OUT. THE COURSE WAS NICE AND NOT OVERLY COMPLICATED, THE FACILITY AND STAFF WERE VERY INVITING, ONLY ISSUE AND NOT THE COURSE FAULT, ONLY THE FRONT 9 WAS AVAILABLE TO PLAY AND WE WERE NOT ADVISED BY GOLFNOW DURING THE SCHEDULE PROCESS BUT WE STILL HAD A GREAT TIME AND WILL VISIT AGAIN
Love This Course
We play this course at least a couple of times a month. Beautiful setting and love all of the staff. Great value and always an enjoyable round.
Laurel links
Laurel links is course that offers some beautiful marsh views and some decently forgiving fairways. I played the white tees and at times they where basically blue tees because they where literally right next to them. I found the course to be enjoyable. My drive is nothing to be impressed with but often times would leave me around 150 in. The par 5s are challenging. Some of the par threes can be as well if the wind picks up. All in all good value for sure. Only one green was really ruff, the rest where full of undulations and where not fast by any means. Probably because it was raining all week. The best deal is on golf now app. I pad almost twice the amount at the course.

Nice outing for new friends
The course was in great shape, much better than my game. Bad shots are penalized, but shots that are just off are recoverable. It was a lot of fun with some challenging tees, especially on the back nine.
WORTH THE DRIVE
I'm impressed how the new management and staff are doing here at Laurel Island. I have to admit when a group of us played here a little more than a year ago we didn't enjoy the round course and staff have made a change for the better...
We enjoyed our round and it was like we had the course to ourselves but it was a good time and we will be back again.
Thank you.
One of my favorite courses!
I enjoy playing this course. It is in great shape and the staff is friendly. Great restaurant in the club house.
Good value
Good course layout and design. For the most part course was in good shape. Greens were recently top dressed so putting was difficult but this is to be expected. Tee to green pretty well maintained. I would play again.
